The House Sunny Dry Summers
St. André has a typical Mediterranean climate with predictable seasonal weather. The long hot summers and short cooler winters are both dry seasons. More rain falls in the brief spring and autumn. Although predominantly balmy, there can occasionally be winds and summer storms. The winds are known as the Mistral , the Tramontane and the Marin. When the Mistral blows gently in the summer, it creates idylic sunny days. According to the locals, the fine dry weather starts in mid April and continues until the end of August, in mid September there are some windy days, in early November the cold dry weather of winter starts. February is the coldest month.
