| The house on the outskirts of the quiet village of St. André de Roquelongue, a sleepy little wine-producing village. There are vineyards extending for miles on the rolling hills which surround the village. The Corbieres wine of the region is a very popular table wine in France, although not much is exported. In the village there is a boulangerie/general store, a pharmacy, a café/bar, a garage, and a post office. For a greater variety of shops, the small market town of Lézignan-Corbieres is just a fifteen minute drive and for the bustle of bigger towns, Narbonne is about twenty minutes away and Perpignan is a bit further to the south. |
